Hello, I have a question when I use application in irregular verb section. Can you please tell me which grammar about “waking” in this sentence” I like waking up early in the morning.” And Why doing so?
Hello BetterAdam,
It's what's often called a gerund. A gerund is essentially a verb transformed into a noun. Here it is the object of the verb 'like'.
All the best,

Hi, kirk
Thank you for your help. So I can also make a sentence such as : I like learning English more at weekends.
Is it right?
Thanks a lot.
Learner BetterAdam
Hi Learner BetterAdam,
Yes, that's right. Well done!
In your sentence the gerund (learning'') is the direct object of the verb 'like'.

Hello, thank you for this app. The application is good, but I can't say the same for its design. I am an interface designer, I would like to redesign the application.
