Starting from yesterday, I started to study English which I have not studied for long time. I am planning to learn English online at least 4 hours per day to improve. Yes, that is why I have learnt online English courses outside my work.

Do we need to use these words to say time in daily life? or we just use that words for reading poster?

Hello deelylearn,

You can always just say numbers when telling the time to other people, but many people, especially native speakers, often use expressions such as 'quarter past', 'quarter to', and 'half past' when they tell or talk about the time.

Best wishes,
Kirk
