Subject: Booking 2 nights next week

Dear Ascot Hotel,

I would like to reserve an accessible single room for two nights with breakfast on the 22 and 23 of April. Could I have a quiet room with a view if possible, please?

I will arrive at about 10 p.m. and I have an early meeting the next morning, so please could you leave an iron and ironing board in the room?

I have a promotional code (MH2219). Please can you confirm that it is £80 per night with breakfast included?

Please could you confirm the booking? Let me know if you need any further information.

Many thanks.

With kind regards,

David Mathews

Tips

  1. When writing an email to a hotel, you can start with Hello or Dear (hotel name).
  2. Say clearly the dates you want, the room type and whether you want breakfast or not.
  3. Don't forget to mention any additional information or special requests.
  4. Ask them to confirm your booking. Give them your phone number if you prefer to be contacted that way.

What things do you ask for when you book a hotel room?
Before booking a hotel room, I check the review of other visitors, price and facilities. I do not interest to get discount or promotion. I only interest the hotel and staff service, food and facility. I do not want to ask any more.

I ask for dressing gown, slipper, an additional towel, especially when there's a spa aria. I like to have a bath in the hotel room. Also it should be accessible if we're travelling with children. We often use promotional codes in order to get a better price.

I have 5 years of experience in the hotel industry. I know how to book a hotel by mail and call. Now I'm gonna explain you. First the name of the hotel. Which hotel do you want to book? After that, you say I would like to stay in your hotel with my family. From 13 to 16 March. Could you please check whether the room is available on this date? I want a balcony view room. We are 5 members. We all are adults. So we want 2room and one extra mattress. Can you tell me the price including dinner? I'm waiting for your positive response.
Thanks

I know I do a lot of mistakes. I'm not good at the English language. Today is my 2 month of practice my learning English through British Council. I know it will work according to time.
