Hello Jo,
Thanks for your grammar lesson.
As for the question time - session "ask me any question!"
My question for you is:
Since I keep on having a kind of block to reading beyond all my efforts, how can I get over this?
About your learning a second language, have you ever had this problem, and how have you tackled it?
What short pieces of reading do you recommend?
Thanks for your help.

Hi User_1,

I'm glad that you enjoyed the grammar lesson! Thanks for your question.

I've lived in France for many years but I must admit that I still don't read as much as I should in French. I find the thought of a novel quite daunting, and I'm a bit lazy, so I usually read novels in English.

What I read in French is more factual - books, magazines or online articles about gardening or health, or other topics that I'm interested in. I find that more motivating. So I guess that's what I'd recommend - choose something that you're really interested in and you want to find out more about.

What are your hobbies and interests? And have you tried the short stories in our Story zone? Why not give one of those a try, and tell us what you think of it?!

Hi Jo,
Thanks for your reply, and most of all for sharing your efforts to read novels in French.
Yes, I have tried the short stories in your Story zone, but my first impact is the block in this case as well.
Anyway, I will take your advice:
I will give one of those a try again, and I will tell us what I think about it.
Thanks for your time.

Dear,

Time is short in Life. I think it’s important to choose in thinking about.

1- Living in take time to build my Life with take care for me and take time to Dream about classical music ou tourisme or culture
2- take time to me like wife, mother, bestfriend for my men, and bosswomen of my cats.

For exemple.
What about others opinions ?

So great for and all the best for.
Sincerely.

Hi Moana76,

Thanks for your comment. I agree with you that time is short - with work and family commitements there often isn't much time to spare for ourselves. I'm glad that you manage to find time for your  interests such as classical music, tourism and culture. And I also think that taking time for family and friends is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling things we can do.

Best wishes

Jo (LearnEnglish team)
